Our Nephew's Mickey's Playroom!

This is the final result of our nephews Mickey playroom!  It took a couple of months to create this room into a fun play area for the kids, and more importantly, an area for them to enjoy doing homework.  It's such a great feeling when the kids actually come home from school and they actually WANT to go straight up and to do homework!
We didn't know that chalkboard paint existed.  Thanks to Amy, my sisters co-worker (she is so creative in re-doing everything instead of buying new furniture), who gave us the idea to buy chalk board paint and paint the closet doors!  Let me tell you we went crazy with that chalk board paint! All the furniture you see here was re-painted including the kids kitchen.  Oh, and by the way, my sister's husband was not thrilled at all for the boys to have a kitchen.  Until we reminded him that some of the greatest chefs in the world were men and there was nothing wrong with the boys cooking and using their imaginations.  Hopefully one day one of them will become a great chef!
Special Thanks to the following people for helping us create this magical room for our boys:
Amy (our sisters co-worker) for giving us the idea to use chalk board paint.
Our Step-Dad Papa Pancho who did an awsome job painting the room.
South Bay Boiler Repair, Inc. for recreating the kids table and adding the Mickey Mouse silhouette, Our Sister has one of the BEST BOSSES in the WORLD!
